Why You Need to Visit Disney World in 2022

Disney World is a place of magic and wonder. The surprise as you see and interact with all your childhood heroes is worth the trip alone. Disney World only continues to expand so here is why you need to visit in 2022.

Why You Need to Visit Disney World in 2022

50th Anniversary Celebration

Disney World is currently celebrating its 50th Anniversary. Starting on the 1st of October 2021, Disney began an 18-month celebration. Step into the celebratory scene with dazzling decorations, new looks for Mickey, Minnie and friends and magical touches across all 4 theme parks.

As part of the 50th celebration, Disney has launched its special firework show ‘Disney Enchantment’. Watch in awe as Cinderella Castle comes to life with magical effects and fireworks. The show really is incredible, tied in with the 50th Anniversary celebrations, it is definitely worth the visit in 2022.

Water Parks

Many people forget that Disneyworld has two very high-quality water parks, Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. Blizzard Beach is 66-acre water park, built around the mythical tale of a one-time ski resort that melted into soothing, warm water while Typhoon Lagoon is a tropical paradise that’s been transformed by a legendary storm into an oasis of pure excitement.

Both destinations are worthy of the trip on their own and are not to be overlooked on your visit to Disney World.

EPCOT

Disney takes a step back from its fun and magical nature, to celebrate community, culture, human achievement, new ideas, and new technologies. Epcot is a theme park that is more futuristic in Future World and all about discovering different countries and cultures in The World Showcase.

Epcot offers its own unique attractions like ‘Spaceship Earth’, ‘Frozen Ever After’ and ‘Mission: SPACE’ aswell as 300 acres for visiters to explore and discover.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios

Disney’s Hollywood Studios is a theme park that is inspired by Disney’s films and is the home to some of fans most beloved attractions. Disney’s Hollywood Studios is split into 6 main areas, each having its own Disney-related theme featuring rides, attractions, shows, shops and restaurants. These areas are Hollywood Boulevard, Echo Lake, Grand Avenue, Animation Courtyard, Toy Story Land and Sunset Boulevard.

With the addition of a Star Wars themed area where you can live out your own Luke Skywalker story, Hollywood Studios is a must.

Lake Buena Vista Golf Course

If your a avid golfer and a disney fan, this is perfect for you. Lake Buena Vista is a classic country-club course winds through pastel villas, pine forests, palmettos and sparkling lakes.

Dont think that this course is average, Lake Buena Vista Golf Course has hosted the PGA Tour, the LPGA Tour and USGA events and is certified by Audubon International as a Cooperative Wildlife Sanctuary.

The 18-hole course was created by Joe Lee, a prolific golf course architect and most notably features elevated bunkered greens that put a premium on accurate approach shots.
