Travel Destinations I’ve Been To (Countries In Alphabetical Order)

There are 195 countries in the world today. This total is made up of 193 countries that are member states of the United Nations and two countries that are non-member observer states, the Holy See and the State of Palestine. However, these numbers can change due to geopolitical shifts such as the recognition of new nations or changes in borders.

According to the Visited travel stats app, the average global traveller has been to 18 countries. I’ve had the privilege to have visited 50+ How many have you been to ?

I believe, the way that we perceive the world determines who we are. When we travel we broaden our horizons and open our minds to new possibilities. Travel takes us out of our comfort zone and inspires us to see, taste and try new things. It keeps our minds flexible because it challenges our set ways of doing things.

For me, nothing compares to that feeling of seeing a new place for the first time, triggering the rush of serotonin to your brain, it’s a sensory overload, with unfamiliar sights, sounds, and smells taking over your senses. There’s a sense of excitement, anticipation and wonder as you take in the beauty and uniqueness of your surroundings. Unsurprisingly, this feeling can be addictive!

I haven’t been everywhere but it’s on my list !!
