Prepare yourself for three days of fascinating history, beautiful art, delectable cuisine, and distinctive Italian flair.

We’ll take you on an amazing tour of Rome in this post, taking you from the Colosseum to the charming alleyways of Trastevere. Put your seatbelt on and let’s embark on this voyage!

Day 1: Exploring Rome’s Centre

Visit the Colosseum, the granddaddy of them all, to begin your Roman adventure. This famous amphitheater is a must-see, even though it’s a bit of a whopper.

After learning about the past, head over to the quaint area of Trastevere. If Temple Bar had more pizza and less drizzle, it would be comparable. You’ll feel at home among the charming cafes, cobblestone streets, and bright street art. Make sure you try some real Roman food at a nearby osteria and follow it up with a pint of wine. Cheers!

Day 2: A holiday in Rome

Visit Vatican City, the smallest country in the world (yep, you read that correctly), to begin your second day. Just for fun, have your passport stamped in Vatican City. View the Sistine Chapel, a work of art by Michelangelo, and St. Peter’s Basilica. That’s what I mean by heavenly!

Next,  as you pass famous sites like the Pantheon and the Trevi Fountain, feel the breeze in your hair. And remember to throw a penny into the Trevi Fountain; according to legend, you’ll visit Rome again someday. Cross your fingers!

Day 3: When in Rome

It’s time to explore Rome’s culinary marvels on your last day there. Grab a slice of pizza the size of your head and consume it. Explore the colourful marketplaces of Campo de’ Fiori and indulge in some delectable regional fare. If you’re feeling daring, try the traditional Roman dish “Coda alla Vaccinara” (oxtail stew). Your taste buds will be delighted, leaving you wanting more.

Go to the Spanish Steps to finish your journey across Rome by people-watching. Take a seat back, unwind, and enjoy the atmosphere of this well-known meeting place.
